Capture as 1 file?
If I have a bunch od stop and starts on a MiniDV tape and I am doing a capture, Vegas splits up each clip as a separate file.
Is there a setting in Vegas that will allow to captures these combined clips as 1 file, instead a bunch of separate files. eg, I have 30 minutes of total footage, but with about 10 starts and stops, throughout the footage, Vegas will give me 10 separate capture files. I want to capure this total 30 minutes as 1 file. Thanks Yung |

Select capture video, then go into capture preferences and de-select ''Enable DV scene detection'
You have to do this for both DV and HDV, For DV you'll find the dialogue box by clicking the Options tab (after you select DV Capture), then preferences and then the 'Capture' tab. For HDV there's a little 'Prefs' button top left corner of the Capture box. |
