How do I run an iPod into a sound board?
I've never owned an iPod. I need to run one into a sound board at an event this Saturday. Will I need male mini to male 1/4" connector cable? Thanks.

depends on the board but most will have both a 1/4 and an XLR input
Most DJs etc I've seen do this use a 1/4 to mini and it works just fine. Don |

If you use the headphone out on the iPod, you are using a slightly amplified stereo output which will need to be"
1) split into to RCA inputs. Radio Shack a good place to find the adapter. 2) muted a bit because the amplified out MIGHT be too strong a signal for a normal line or tape in. That means not using the TAPE IN connection on the board in favor of one of the Line In Inputs that allows some gain adjustment. ALWAYS TEST.
