Would this mp3 recorder
Hi guys
Could anyone tell me if this mp3 recorder would be suitable like the iriver as a back for capturing audio? Have a look at the link http://www.dooyoo.co.uk/portable-mp3...12-mb/details/ |

Based upon the specs, it only allows use of the built-in mic, which is very likely useless.
You need external mic access to make this kind of device usefull.

It does have a line in (look under the Connections section of the specs). So the next question would be if it has a lock function. Once you start it recording you want to lock the controls so that it can't be accidentally turned off. If it has that then it looks like a winner. Pretty much a trendy iRiver.

And as far as the "lock" everyone touts as necessary - nothing a piece of scotch tape can't cure. |
