off season...keeping busy?
I am just curious what everyone here does in the 'off season' so to speak, from weddings. I do commercials and other events randomly but have been lucky to stay pretty busy with weddings. Mainly those of you that do this full time as a business...what keeps you busy in the winter when weddings aren't so big?

Lots of things. Re-define my business goals, finish work on my studio that I started last spring, spend time with my wife, maybe even take a vacation, fix all the stuff I broke this season, dream about what toys I want to buy next year, find an effective training method that will keep my cats from walking across my keyboard at the most inappropriate times. It is a never ending list.

During the months when the wedding business is slow, there's enough corp work to keep me fairly busy with more and more coming thru, almost as good as it was 12-15 years ago.
