Easter Eggs....

ok, heres a doozy...

am i the only one who puts easter eggs in their videos? Not deliberatly.. but...

By Easter Eggs i refer to secret consistant elements which are in plain site but are hidden to the viewer...

i have a couple.. and i'll spill the beans on the one i DIDNT deliberatly do...

The first is my car.. in EVERY video i have shot, my car has made an apprearance one way or another... whether it be in the background as the limos roll or shooting from a moving car... my car is in every video.. now this one WASNT deliberate, but its consistant...

anyone else have something in al their videos that they didnt even know about?

My car is often in my shots as the limo rolls out but I need to park close to the church.

The other one is my ladder or tripod in the backround at the reception hall.

Even if it is just part of it, I notice it right away.

I have a blue bag with cables and the like. It creeps into backround shots every so often.

It's quite a juggling act shooting weddings. The gear needs to be near, available and protected, but not in the way. Hopefully, dimly lit in the backround is a good compromise.

Hi Peter,

That's funny that you mention this. I've often wondered how I managed to get my van in every wedding without trying. As for 'real' easter eggs I've been putting them in when there is something that someone might find objectionable. I just tell the bride and groom how to access it and leave it up to them to decide if they pass that information on to others. Usually its just invisible buttons that can only be activated if you navigate in a certain way. The last one was when all the groomsmen mooned the camera.
