Check this out. I was browsing around on the iriveramerica.com site, and found that you can still buy the 700 and 800 series from them direct (refurbished).

If the link doesn't work, go to iriveramerica.com, click on "estore" at the top, then either "ultraportable players", "iriver outlet" or "waterproof". Look around...

I've been reading that they are no longer available from the iriver site, but it doesn't seem to be true.
