Anyone in Northern VA/ DC?

I'm relatively new to video (been doing it for fun for about 8 months), and I'm hoping to get into weddings and other event videography. The majority of what I've shot/edited so far has been stage shows and concerts. If any of you guys are in the Northern VA/ Washington DC area and need a hand for ANY project/wedding/whatever let me know, I'd love to get some experience before diving head first into weddings and such.

I have a FX1, Bogen 501/525, Seinheisser M66(with Rycote Softie), K-Tek Boom Pole, some other bits and peices as well.

I do have a full-time job which occassionally requires me working on weekends but if you give me at least 2 weeks notice I'm able to take off in most cases.

You can email me at noahphayes@aol.com or mmeproductions@mac.com
