FIRST: Craig... Thanks for the post. I know next to nothing about the
technical issues surrounding DVD "stuff". I'll consider changing the text to reflect what you've said. THANKS! SECOND: Peter... Thank you also for your comments about "legal-eze". If you've build a better mousetrap, I'd be happy to see what you've got. Please do include me in your emailings. A note, I've lost no one because of this wording. But, that's just me I guess. THIRD: (no particular order, by the way) Rick... No misprint on the delivery time. I have also not lost one client because of that. I explain to them, before they even ask... how long it takes me to edit a wedding. I'm a LOW VOLUME / HIGH-END videographer and I don't put my work through a meat grinder to get it done. It takes me and average of a week and a half... sometimes two weeks to create my productions. I shoot weddings all over the country/world and am sometimes gone for a week at a time on location. When you add up being out of town for about half my weddings... and the amount of time I need to bring my creations to life... it's a simple matter of doing the math for me. In my case, quality, creativity and imagination can't be rushed... and they do have a price. My clients understand this and encourage me to "take my time" and do it right. I would encourage more videographers to be realistic with their editing time estimates. I see a great many difficulties arise when estimates are too quick and expectations are not met. I'm always upfront with my clients about such things. THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOU COMMENTS. If you've got more questions or comments... keep 'em coming. I can back up what Ken describes. This time of the year (towards the end) the backlog gets fairly large. My current turn around is about 6 months.
