Weva

Does someone know how much it costs to go to the expo, and is it really worth it. Also is it worth becoming a member? Keep in mind that I live in a city in northern Canada and am 8 hours away from Minneapolis which would be the closest metropolitan area where a conference could be held. Is the whole Vegas trip worth the return in ideas.

Thanks

Jason I don't know the fees- you might want to check their website for more information. Regarding the Expo being a worthy investment- I have mixed feelings. I suppose it depends on how active you are with the videographer communities online. I attended my first Weva expo this year and felt it didn't have as much of an impact on me beings 99% of the the topics have been thoroughly covered in the thousands of threads I read and participate in on the net. Granted, due to this fact, I'm not a good representation of the average videographer.

They do offer lots of good seminars from the who's who in the industry and fantastic fellowship. It's great to be surrounded by hundreds of like minded individuals. I'm considering going again in 2006.

Hey Glenn,

are you coming down to Orlando for the 4EVER Group Convention in January?

If so, be sure to check out Robert Allen and Randy Stubbs. You won't regret it.

I would like to the whole January/Florida is quite appealing compared to the August/Vegas combo. I told Steve if they ever do another "Day with Stubbs" count me in!
