Glidecam smooth shooter vest
I am thinking about buying a vest for my devin graham glidecam. Can anyone she'd some pros and cons of using a vest? I will be flying a c100 and or a 6d. Is the vest a pain to use during weddings or does it really help?

Re: Glidecam smooth shooter vest
Hi Jeff, can you fly your stabiilizer without your arm straining for the time you need.
I have the Glidecam vest and it certainly takes the weight off your arm. When set up properly, you can let go with the vest taking the strain. It takes about 3-4 mins to put vest on and set up. When I did weddigs, I used vest prior arrival, left it on stand at rear of venue and slipped it back on after. If you get strain now, to the extent you have to put down, then you will benefit from the vest (blatant plug for my sale of Glidecam X10 in classified 😃 now Ive given up filming weddings) |
