SD card Problem - missing file - Help?

Ok, so a 29minute clip from during the speeches was missing when I checked teh SD card on the PC.

The clip before was named CO230.mp4, and the file after was named CO231.mp4.... So I freaked thinking 'Was I not recording that whole time????'

In a panic I put the card back into the camera and flicked through.

There it was. The 29 minute clip. Hit play. Watched it.

Back in the PC - file not there.

I tried data recovery software could see it but was unable to open it in any player.

I went back on camera and chose 'Recover Image DB'. I went through the folder structure on the card and deleted thumbnails and image database, then used the camera to recreate them all to no avail.

It's there, I'm literally watching it as we speak on the back of the camera.

Can anybody help me figure out how to find it and get it off the card??

Tried 7/8 recovery softwares. Most couldn't see it. One did but couldn't play it. Then finally one was able to recover it for me. Recovermyfiles.Com. very original. Not the best looking GUI or branding but boy am I thankful. Best $70 I've ever spent!

Thanks Clive for the link. Yesterday after the shoot. I got home and try to copy all my footages over a external hard drive. At first everything was fine while I click open a few files and all the certain it tell me I need to format the sd card. This is freaked me out. I could not sleep well last night because I keep thinking if I can't recover the footage. Then I remember reading your post not long ago here. I went back and search for your post and found it. I download the trial version and boom every file is showing up in the RTecover My File software. Bought it afterward. Life saver........
