Insurance. Any recomendations? (UK only)

Hi All,

I've had a search of the forum, but can't find a specific thread on this, I've also googled a bit and found lots of options for lots of different monies.

So.... Can any UK videographers recommend the type of insurance they are using and any companies they've found more helpful than painful (or any to avoid come to that.).

Thanks in advance.

Paul

Hi Paul

Different country but same company .. Go thru AON UK ..My brother is a broker and says they are the best and they also have a "Photographer" policy which applies to us.

Never had any issue in the last 15 years or so!!

Re: Insurance. Any recomendations? (UK only)

I use (and have heard generally good things about) Towergate Camerasure. I have insured with them for 3 years now (and they were a lot cheaper than the previous company I used for my camera etc insurance). I have read (on here) of others recommending Adiouki (not sure if name is correct as on my phone right now/in London).

There was definitely a thread about UK insurerers for camera gear a while back on here - so keep searching - it is probably in the Taking Care of Business section, which is really where this thread should be anyway.

Hope this helps.

With Aaduki here ... heard nothing but praises when it comes to claiming. Quick turnarounds etc. Never had to do a claim myself (hopefully I won't have to) but it's re-assuring knowing this.
