Help: GH4 clips audio shorter than video?
So I had another videographer cover an event for me. He shot in HD on his GH4. The clips play fine on windows media player, but when I drag the clip onto the timeline in Vegas. The audio is too short. Both audio and video appear to be playing in realtime.
And yes, the project settings do match the clip settings. Anyone know what the problem here is?? |

Litterally five seconds after posting I discovered that the video clip part past the audio part is not video, but rather a long freeze of the last frame.
Still no idea why, and it means having to cut that part off every clip, but at least it's workable. Pretty weird and annoying though... |

That is strange. I use the gh4 and have never seen that issue, but I always shoot in 4k and edit in FCP X, so it could be something with his Vegas reads that file.

I have no idea how you could even set the camera up to do that - I'd certainly have to dive in to the advanced manual.... which admittedly I'm done for other stuff.
