Exporting Pinnacle 16 files
What format do I export my mpeg2 time line to? So I will not lose anything in quality ?

First you have to decide what you are exporting for..... like YouTube, DVD, Blu-ray etc since that will dictate what codec you will need to use.
For example, YouTube will take H264 and H264 is pretty good at high bit rate. DVDs need MPEG 2. Blu-ray can take either H264 or MPEG2. For archival purpose you could export uncompressed, or as MPEG2, or as any number of other formats. Each time you transcode you have the potential lose a little bit of quality, unless you're using really high bit rate codecs like DNxHD or ProRes or are saving uncompressed.
