Music from Wedding Video
I tried to post this an hour ago but thee is so much interesting posts here for newbies like me that I get side tracked. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions were to buy background music. I use to make slideshows with purchased instrumental music but I never really liked the tunes form that site.

+1 for theMusicBed.com When I find a song I really like to use, I always get the 5-use license for $70(?)
SongFreedom has some nice choices, too. |

Re: Music from Wedding Video
I find the music bed the most infuriating site sometimes. You put all these filters in and it seems to completely ignore them.
For instance, I'm currently shooting a charity video that needs something that's slightly sad / emotional etc and instrumental only, preferably maybe acoustic guitars. Great. Let's choose those attributes on the left and then.... hmmm..... what does it give me? Lots of tracks with anything but acoustic guitars and with lots of vocals. So, what's the point of the filters if it's just going to ignore them?

+ Dave. The Music Bed... love the music selection, dislike using the site, filters do not work for me well either.

Re: Music from Wedding Video
Another vote for The Music Bed.
Concur with the site being not the most user friendly with the latest site redesign. The old layout actually had a wedding filter, but the new one doesn't. At least I can't find it. Incompetech has ok free stuff and even YouTube has maybe 5 or 6 that I've found are ok for freebies. |

I believe that songfreedom still has the promotion going on, too (with their new site launch).

Re: Music from Wedding Video
Thanks everyone. I'll give all of these a try. I have watched a lot of videos on Vimeo and good music really adds a nice feel to the experience.
