I cost by event rather than hours so the bride cannot do any math and work out your hourly rate! Remember they only look at time on site ..they forget you take often the same time to edit and produce.

Costing is super important otherwise you are simply sucking prices out of the air!! Decide on an hourly rate and then work out how many hours you will spend ..not just shooting but also consulting, attending the rehearsal, editing, making disks and delivering ..plus if you have more than one shooter their pay needs to be added to the total.
