First Wedding Clip post

Finally I have grabbed a piece of my latest Wedding through my formal intro in and have posted for your review. I would sincerely appreciate your best critiques.

This clip is just the bride and groom meeting before the wedding and taking pics together.

I hope you enjoy. Just click on the title below.

Dan,

High marks for creativity. You really captured the moment between them in the beginning - that was awesome - it really hooked me.

I think you must have had some fun with your dissolve suite and it worked well with the mood of the music. I wouldn't have included the audio of the bride commenting about her jaw though... seemed not to belong. Instead maybe I would have just slow-mo'd her smile after the comment. A touch too many contrasty shots... contrast can definately be an artistic tool but if it's over done it can look like you don't know how to use the camera. I would have openned the iris a bit more for a few of those shots so we could see skin tones better. I'm guessing the camera was on Auto. I'm just knit-picking though. I liked it - nice work.

Thanks for the kind words. I would say 90% of the shots were on manual. I only shoot on auto if its run and gun and I can't predict the lighting.

That was very nice Dan. I liked it. :) liked the conversation of the B/G during photo session at church, also the song ( who sung that?) there are just some points where it gets stuttering (or is it my internet connection) and in the beginning, the flower should go away just like a bubble, i would it better if it would slowly fade out...but that's just me :) great job...your first wedding as well?

Also was the umbrella your lighting or photographer's?

thanks for sharing this nice clip. :)

Nice work, good job catching the candid words exchanged between the B & G. Good music, was that Sarah Maclachlan singing?

Leonardo,

It was my third wedding. Thank you for taking the time to review my work. I also look forward to seeing more of yours.

Armin,

Yes that was Sarah McLachlan. She is the B&G's favorite artist.
