Re: Sony SLT A99
Hello Anthony,
I have also been looking into this camera as it looks amazing on paper. It has 1080p60 (great for slow-mo), in built stabilization and access to some amazing Zeiss glass. Unfortunately there are many forum reviewers out there that have evidence to show that the quality of the video just isn't there. It's such a shame. Apparently a great camera for photos, but the aliasing and just general quality in the deep depth of field shots looks poor. Apparently its worse than the Nex-5n, which is a camera I have and would definitely would expect better results for 5x the price. Just have a search for A99 and poor video and you'll see lots of posts about it and footage comparisons. Cheers, Rich |
