Pete, I was going to tell you about the Black Ed. but Daniel beat me to it. I must say that I like your idea though. That monopod shot could look like a crane.

Yeah it's a good shot - I clamp the monitor to the lowest part of the monopod and swing it up - takes a couple of goes as it's a bit unwieldy - If I could record ad 50p however it would give me the option to slow it down a little and smooth it out.
I'll buy the black edition for next season now - I've invested as much as I can this year :/ |

Wow. Turns out the venue was even darker than I expected! I didn't even put up the Hero3 as my VG30 was struggling. I did try the GoPro on a stick idea mentioned earlier in the thread by Pete once the wedding party went outside. I used my cell phone to line up the shot. It took a couple tries, but I'm happy with the results.
