same day edit
Hey guys,
Do you always try to make a same day edit to show it on the evening party ? I still haven't figured it out what the best workflow is. :o( When you shoot on a DSLR and for example you have 4 cards full shot of 16GB. Before you can start editing it you first has to do convert it right ? Via Mpeg Streamclip or the EOS utility. But that converting is already taking a few hours ... :o( So by the time that it's finished and you can start editing, the evening party is almost over. hehe ;o) So how are you doing that ? |

Re: same day edit
Hi Bart. This has been discussed in the forums many times. You should be able to do a quick search and find lots of useful tips for SDE workflow.
But to quickly answer your question, most of us who do need to transcode it, we do it progressively throughout the day. Not necessarily wait until the evening comes. You do need to manage your timing though, or bring assistant to help you do this. |
