Need opinions on my new Website/branding

Yellow Umbrella Media - Charlottesville, VA Wedding and Event Photography and Videography

We just got this finished and filled with content. I would love some opinions from others in the Wedding industry. I'd hate to fall into a trap someone else has already fallen in.

Things I know we need:
Portfolio work / Samples - They are coming.

If you could answer these three questions for me, I'd really appreciate it.

Design - How does it look?
Navigation - How easy was it for you to get around? Could you find the things you wanted, quickly?
Content - Was everything laid out clearly and phrased in a way you could understand easily?

Any other comments you have for me? Don't hold back, I'm here to learn!

Thank you so much in advance. This is really a huge help!

I love the name and love the color !!!!

Now for my "opinion" which remember those are like belly buttons, so YMMV.

She is really cute..... but maybe he needs to get some decent shoes. :-)

On your faqs page, it reads like it was arranged in order by a techie and not a bride. Do brides really ask about "lighting" that often ??? Before they ask about "when can I see the proofs" ???

Up on top, right after "For Availability" you use a straight line divider which honestly, at first glance, and maybe second, looks like a dumb looking number "1".

What the heck is cohomcity.com from the image ???

That's about it.... all in all, I'd say a really good first run at it !!!

Great points, thanks! I appreciate the feedback. I'm glad to hear they are relatively easy changes.

Hi Brad,

Looks good. It would be nice to imbed media (video) as opposed to the re-direct to Vimeo. I'm not sure if your website template allows it though. Also while Vimeo is the preferred video server, having a well-tagged copy on Youtube really helps with SEO.

Good Luck!
