Is anyone in UK going to this.....

I've just been sent a link to this "Exclusive, 3-day, hands-on filmmaker intensive in the heart of London, England. Prepare to discover the intracacies of DSLR cinema production and survive a gauntlet of real-world shooting conditions with two of the best in the industry."

London, England (3/2/11-3/4/11) | Event Cinema Workshop

Will anyone here be attending?

George, I don't mean to sound obsequious but given your experience is there anything you can learn that's worth £725.00?

The other thing that came to mind was "those who can do, those who can't ........"

I could do three wedding fairs for that much - but I'm not!

It's interesting they don't have a venue for an event happening in five weeks time.

Hi Philip. I have no intention of going to it.
I am just curious as to whether or not there is any interest in it; do those who have interest consider £750 would be money well spent.

When I saw the title, I thought you were talking about this :

Broadcast Video Expo 2011 - Be The First to Discover Truly Ground-Breaking Technology

I've been for the past few years - I would definitely recommend it. Lots of seminars and equipment demos.

And it's free!

Hi Andrew, I do go to BVE, as you say very useful and a good day away from the workbench.

When I received the above link I first thought it was one that had been sent as a result of my registration for BVE. It seems it may be a couple of "experts" trying the water this side of the pond.

As Philip said it's very close to the event to still not have a venue organised, especially as it is over three days so those attending would need to make travel and accommodation arrangements.
