WMV to FLV

I just purchased a new web-site and it requires flash to show videos. I use wmv right now. My question is can you convert .wmv to .flv? If so, can you tell me how to do it or where I can buy software that will convert wmv to flash

Thanks
Gary

can't recall off the top of my head right now if it will convert WMV to FLV but I've been using On-Flix (standard) for a couple of years and the FLV encoding is great. Plus the cost is cheap, IIRC about $30.00.
My machine is off now so I can't check it to see if it converts WMV but I almost want to say it will but not will to say for sure.

I use FormatFactory.

It's free and can to/from many different formats. I tend to convert FROM .flv to .mpg or .avi. Results are generally very good, which is great for a free program.

First off Happy new year to you all.

Chris thanks for the heads up, I never do WMV to FLV but now I know I can and that's good.

Ken, thanks for the heads up about the program. I may look it up just to have another bullet in the gun.

HNY to all!

I convert WMV to FLV all the time. I use Adobe Media Encoder. It's not free, but if you're using Adobe Create Suite, it's included.
