External Monitors
Looking to get an external monitor for my Canon 7D rig because my eyes just can't take it any more. I would personally like something very portable that runs on a battery. So lets here it. Who is using them? What brands and how are your results?

External Monitors
You may want to take a look at the Varizoom 7" external monitor offered by B & H; the kit comes with the accessory shoe swivel mount, battery, charger, case and even a sun shade.
The reviews pretty much say it: It's a great little unit for the price, taking the load off your eyes for shot composition and framing, etc. You can even pick up an extra battery and still be around $500. But, if you were hoping for perfect color representation, you are looking to spend 2 to 3 times the price of this baby... (A La Carte, the monitor is a mere $249) Interesting...
