Absolutely nothing wrong with the Bescor. I've had the lead acid and the Nimh paks both singles and belts and they have al run trouble free for a very long time.

They are pretty close time wise but the Nimh ar considerably lighter in weight. The lead acid belt I have will run a 30 watt bulb about 4 hours and so does the Nimh so as to time it's close enough to be a wash but the lead acid could be used to weigh down a body in the water. ;-O It's heavy compared to Nimh.

I use the Bescor and really like them. They are bit heavy, but I carry 4 to each wedding and will be getting a total of 6 to bring. The length of the battery is good too.
