Indoor wedding and shotgun mics... at DVinfo.net

When filming a wedding indoors and when using a shotgun mic, do you use the mic bare or do you put foam or windscreens on them?

I use them. There's a lot of background and ambient noise (since it's not on a boom) so it helps filter things down.
