Another Research Project

Hi, I am a student at Sam Houston State University. Recently I came to these forums seeking out the friendliness of it's members to fill out a short interview to help me with a research project I was working on about starting a wedding videography business. Due to the overwhelming support I got before, I'm hoping again that a few of you might be able to help me with my second research project. Part of the project is to get opinions and information from individuals with experience in the chosen career on the social media site Youtube. I am asking that anyone willing to please answer a short questionnaire (you don’t have to answer all it) or just give a brief informational description of how social media sites (primarily Youtube) has or can advance your wedding/event videography business. Thanks, for any consideration.

-Do you use Youtube to advance your business? If so, how? If not, why? Also, if not, do you think you would in the future, or could you see a way Youtube could be improved in a way that would encourage you to start, if so what sort of change?

-Do you use any other social media site to advance your business? (twitter, facebook, etc)

-Do you recommend using Youtube to others in your field?

-Have you ever directly gained a job through your Youtube usage? other social media site usage? If so how many do you think? (could be in percantage)

-How long have you been using Youtube for your business?

-Whats the best way to utilize the social media site Youtube for your business?

-Is there any downside to using Youtube? (people stealing your work/website restrictions/etc)

-What do you like most about how Youtube helps you?

-How do you gain channel/video views?

-Have you ever witnessed a customer who doesnt want their event posted online, or gotten upset that you did?

-Do you promote your business in any other way?
