I might try and go to NAB next year. It's just so expensive to fly. That and the molestation you go through at checkin.

Actually Steven, it's never been more affordable than it is right now. I just checked Orbitz: you can fly from Richmond to Las Vegas during NAB week for less than $250 round trip on AirTran, Continental, Delta, American, United or US Airways. You can book a Las Vegas hotel that week with shuttle access to the convention center for $50 to $80 per night. This is the least expensive NAB I've ever seen, but I've done only 13 of them.

yea i think its cheap. I am coming from canada and have spent $390 on airline
hotel and car (which i may or not may go for) is around $200 for 3 nights. i wish i had been coming for a while as i have tried every year and something came up but I think it's worth the trip despite the fact that I haven't gone yet :)
