Fast Forward Club Video Expo 2005
The Fast Forward Club is excited to announce a brand new kind of convention experience.
It's unique, and totally geared to the needs our members have expressed in our discussion forums. For just a fraction of what you likely charged for shooting your last wedding, you can now enjoy taking part in two days of everything you said you wanted......and none of the stuff you don't. The Fast Forward Club Video Expo 2005 will be in Atlanta Georgia January 30th through February 1st 2005. For more information and to register, please visit: http://www.fastforwardclub.com/FFC-Expo-2005-Info-Reg.htm Thanks and I hope to see you there. If you haven't looked recently, there's been several more speakers added to the list. Take a look. It should be a fun and educational time!

Yes Edward, Mike and gang are putting together a real good show. My wife and I are planning to attend... I'm certain I will learn a lot as we're fairly new to wedding videography.

Mike I think you should sort out the controversy with regard to the copyright infringement lawsuit against a featured speaker of yours: Ken Ehrhart. A suit bought by on e of the most respected videographers in the country. Now that its out in the open and is being hotly discussed (with NO defence from Ken) I think you may find that some of your presenters may be unwilling to appear on the same platform as him. I really hope Ken has some sort of viable defence, but meantime count me out.

Thanks Doug,
I found out about this whole copyright thing late last night with a phone call from Jenny. I've been trying to get a hold of Ken today with an email and a voicemail. Hopefully he gets back to me soon so we can nip this in the bud early. Mike Martin Fast Forward Club www.fastforwardclub.com |

Good for you Mike I really appreciate the fact that you share my concern on this. The general tenor of coversation at VU seems to be "Who cares as long as we have a good time/make money?" And they complain that the wedding video business has a bad name!

While I agree that if in fact a particular presenter has stolen or infringed on anothers work they should not be a part of the expo, I fail to see what "boycotting" the entire event by anyone would accomplish.
If the person did in fact use someone elses work (and I'm not taking sides here) boycott that presenters seminar (if it were still going on) NOT the entire event. Thats like throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Mike M. has worked hard and diligently to put on an event that I believe will be a wonderful success with some fantastic presenters, so I just can not understand boycotting this thing. IF in fact the person in question does present, get a cup of coffee during his seminar or go to another one but do not boycott the event because of one person. It doesn't make sense however, I respect anyones decision to attend or not based on their own facts and information. Hope to see you there Don B |

I completly agree- the Lehman/Ehrhart feud is between them. It should shouldn't affect ANYONE'S decision on attendence.
The notion in boycotting an entire event due to a feud between two individuals is preposterous. |
