No info on the price, but in case you didn't know I did this.

Bought my Imac used, about 9 months old. Wasn't sure If i wanted the extended warranty (you can appy it any time in the first year - you can run the serial number on apples website) and went into an Apple store to talk about it with a rep. He basically said the cheapest fix on a Mac runs you $250, the AppleCare is $169. I agreed with him. Bought it on ebay for $100 :) Two years of complete protection feels good.

Sounds like a good deal EXCEPT apple care covers the laptop (from the date of purchase) for 3 years. If the laptop is only 9 months old you should have more than 3 months of coverage left. You should maybe also consider taking the buyer and his laptop to the genuis bar at the apple store to do a quick clean up and check up.

Other than that...If it's gonna make you money i'd go for it.

I honestly think you can find a better deal than that. With new macs going at $1200 try to bring this guy down to $1500. I paid $1400 cdn last year for exact same traits

Apple warranty is one year standard. Apple Care is an extra purchase that extends the warranty a further two years.

Anyway, if it were me, I would pass it up. I would want the high resolution screen, and I believe the 250Gig hard drive in that model is not 7200 rpm. And the price isn't THAT good.
