How to advertise properly for destination weddings
Are there many of you guys that do destination weddings? If so how did you go about getting the business, and where do you advertise so it will be effective? I'm just wondering what the best direction would be to head with this, and where the best places to advertise so destination bride and grooms will see me. Do you advertise online, or with a destination resort?

It's not as much about advertising as it is about working with photogs and wedding planners that do a few of these every year. It's more about building a reputation not just in your local market but regionally and nationally. Get one or two under your belt....and do it for the cost of getting there and staying for a few days.

Facebook is the way to go.
Works best for local weddings though.

Advertising | Facebook You can use keywords to target the advertising down to your locality or any locality. You really have to tweak it several times. I almost hated to post this because it's so good. MySpace also uses the same targeted system, but it's a younger market.
