FTP problem, 1&1 problem, I dont know!

Ok, so I made my own page using textwrangler, I entered in the HTML, and then uploaded onto my server using Fetch. Ok, My page works great and everything works and looks as it should. But for some reason I'll check out that particular page and it will not pull up (4o4 error code).
When I open up my site through my FTP the html document isn't even there. So it's as it's deleting my file every now and then.
Anyone know why???

Are you pointing to the correct root for FTP? e.g., on my ISP's server, a webpage at http://www.joebloggs.com/fred.html is at /www/fred.html. My web authoring software starts in /www so I only see fred.html - I don't even see the "www". My FTP client sees the longer address (/www/fred.html).

Check with your ISP for the root directory you should use.
