Romantic Photo Shoots
Kissing should be banned. No, I'm kidding.
I'm editing another photo shoot with an uninspired photographer, who cannot get the pose and tries to compensate by saying, "Okay, go ahead and kiss." Are you kidding? This poor couple has had to kiss 100 times with the same plasticity as their smile. Though I don't want to think about it, I'm hoping this couple is way, way more creative while they're alone than where this photo shoot is going. Man, if I could capture that creative expression (with clothes on) I would have pure gold on film. Here's a list of things I've been contributing. Sometimes it is met with annoyance from the photographer -- yet often that changes when they see the shot: Kiss her forehead Give him a massage Close your eyes Only nonverbal communication Twirl around a bit How about a slow dance? Nobody is here but you Kiss her hand all the way up to her shoulder (Carefully) play with her hair Eskimo kisses Forehead to forehead How close can you get to each other without touching? Others?? How do you guys contribute without irking the photographer? Time is always an issue, but do you ever do your own shoot w/o the photographer? I wish I could, but I know how exhausting a photo shoot can be on a couple. Last edited by Dana Salsbury; October 28th, 2008 at 11:36 AM. |
