Longest wedding posted on web
To you pros....what is the longest wedding ceremony you have web hosted?
Has anyone hosted 45-50 minutes? I know..huge file, no one will want to watch something that long ect Just asking though and if you have what size and codec ? And one more question, how long does it usually take you to complete a wedding ? I mean handing over the client a set of DVD,s and webpostings complete? Thanks |

I have only done a few weddings but I hosted about an hour of one. But my longest was a two day seminar where I had about six hours of footage from each day and each day went online as 1 file with chapter points. Each day was about 1.7GB but streamed nicely on a broad band connection. I cannot link to those but I do have a Graduation that is an hour and six minutes and open to the public that you can see here: http://www.simplethoughtproductions....08-graduation/
I used FLV and now mainly use h.264 with the JW FLV player. It helps that I rent a dedicated server but It has paid for its self as I charge a small fee for hosting things.

Is your name really John Cash? That's the coolest thing I've heard if that's true...

Hostmonster.com has unlimited storage, but they only back up their server every two weeks. They lost an entire site design recently because of it, but they will store and play big videos for cheap.
