Tips on buying a light for XH-A1 for wedding shoots.

Is there anything you guys would recommend for about $250 or less?

Sony HVL-20DW2 Video Light, the batteries (not sony) are cheap on ebay.

The Sony HVL-20DW2 and HVL-20DMA are comparable units, just use different batteries, been pretty happy with them myself, recommend a diffuser like a StoFen as they can be a bit harsh on the eyes of subjects.

I'm fiddling with some LED lights that are smaller and lighter, and will do fine for backup, so I'm selling a couple of these as complete setups (light, battery, diffuser and charger) - shoot me an e-mail if you're interested, as I see you probably can't access the classifieds section of DVinfo yet.

if you have money, buy the sony LED light dimmable (with warm color), use the same batteries as most sony cameras (bigger size cameras).

no tilt on Sony HVL

We use the PAG light; love em but the battery pack can be a hastle.

Looking into the Sonys mentioned but noticed there is no tilt feature. Does the fixed upright mount become a problem?
