Pd170 or the HVR 1000

which is better for the biz? I read that the HVR has 0 lux, therefore i assume that it shoots a much better picture at night.
I was waiting to get into the HD market at later date. I edit with FCE3.5 and an older model computer. I'm thinking that even i was to buy an HD camera, i would still produce SD.

I've read that the HVR is more of a consumer camera in a prosumer body... I like everything about the way it looks...

Which one would you use??

Also, i like to shoot with a DOF adapter... Dont know if that would effect anyone's decision.
