That was amazing... absolutely love your shooting... My only criticism is that it kinda dragged for me... Maybe too much slo mo... maybe too much with the car in the beginning. I think you could cut it down by at least 30 seconds and make it a tighter more compelling piece. Your exposure and coloring is incredible though.
What camera did you shoot that with? Oh, I also loved the tune... looking for it on Amazon now.. :) Cheers, Scott |

Fantastic work for a great idea.
I only found a thing i can criticise - your reflection on the car. Besides that, everything perfect. |

Тhank you, fellow videographers!
I used Canon for the most part Canon H1 with mini 35 adapter, 50mm Nikkor lens F1.2, that is my favorite setup, wide shot were done with Canon HV 30 with Raynox wide angle adapter. The scene at the end with the ring is done with Canon A1 camera, (so it seems that I am a Canon guy all around, should I ask for Canon Sponsorship ?? : ) I may cut down the car scene, but the car is such a beauty, it's rare Cadillac 53, sorry do not know what model it is, it amazing to see in Moscow, I guess, it's rare car even in California, do not recall seeing it when I lived in LA. |

That was really good. Great to see that was done with Canon.
How did you get that shot over the car in the beginning while it was moving? Jib on a car diving on the side? Some kind of device in the passenger seat? Were you on the hood of the car? |

That was cool Oleg, I liked it!
Awesome song too - the vibe of the song and your footage worked well together. Care to share the artist and song title?

Thanks again, everyone.
The song is "Walk By", by Meiko. It's great, Isn't it! Louis, no devices, just the monopod, my hands, and the tripod used in the project (not in the car though). Last edited by Oleg Kalyan; August 9th, 2008 at 02:21 PM. |

No problem Oleg. I only noticed it only because all the other times it was fairly zippy. I gave up last night, but today it was noticeably faster.
Nice stuff! |

Bill, thank you,
I figured out the model of the car, it's 1953 Cadillac Eldorado, a pure beauty! http://home.aland.net/rasman/cadillac/pictures.htm |

Hey Oleg,
That is one truly amazing clip. To me that just looked fantastic and you have demonstrated some very great skills. Really liked the way you told the story in the clip and it was very unique from a lot of the stuff I have personally seen here. Outstanding!!! Keep up the good work :). Karim. |
