HV30 Test Footage in 24
I currently have been shooting everything with my Canon A1 but just recently purchased the HV30 and WOW what a cool little camera. I just did some tests with it this past weekend and I wanted to show a little video I put together from the footage. It was all handheld except for I think two shots and it was shot in 24. I edit in sony vegas and did all the color grading with magic bullett. http://vimeo.com/1425840

We use the HV30 for a 3rd unmanned camera and as you have shown it does a great job. Low light performance is ok but not great. Hand held stuff look pretty good.

Hv30
Michael,
The footage on Vimeo looks great. I just bought an HV30 as well and I was highly impressed with it! its got an amazing feature set and the image quality is spectacular for a small camera. I used it with the Redrock M2 on vacation a couple weeks ago and was amazed at the sharpness of the images. Awesome stuff. I'll post a couple clips on Vimeo when I get a chance to edit it. ~Casey Warren http://vimeo.com/user467691 http://mindcastle.wordpress.com http://www.mindcastlestudios.com |
