Best way to backup footage to send to client

I have 8 tapes worth of footage from an event I taped. The client would like the digitized footage, this is not from a wedding. They need it for a tv station to make a short commercial. Any ideas on the easiest way to do this?

thanks

External Hard Drive. If you don't already have one or more that you can use you can buy a small one (120GB) for about $50-$75 these days.
