How to do a video blog?
Will those of you who are doing video blogs kindly share with us how you set one up? I'd like to do one, but I don't know where to start.
Thanks very much in advance. |

I am using WordPress with the JW Media Player. There is a plugin for WordPress that uses the JW Media Player... All you have to do is use the plugin to add the video file to the WordPress database. As you add videos to the database they are given unique id numbers. You insert the video into a post by including a tag like this [MEDIA=id]
search google for: WordPress JW Media Player WordTube WordPress plugin You will also need a way to encode your video to flash .flv format.

Incorporating Wordpress into website
Hi,
I'm also looking at setting up a video blog into my site which is currently getting recreated at the moment. Is it possible for me to get a template html page of the site, ie, the background, header etc and easily incorporate wordpress into it so that I can also easily load up videos etc as previously mentioned on this thread? Basically the company that I'm using will charge me a fair bit more to build wordpress into it because they haven't done it before, so I thought I would see if its easy to do. I have experience with html and web pages so if I know there is an easy way to do it then fingers crossed I could get it working and save some $$. |
