When I first got into the wedding video business several years ago, I found that me picking the music bed became a liability. If the couple didn't like my choice I had to re-edit and re-author. My philosophy now is that the customer picks their own music. After all it's their wedding video and the music bed should be a personal choice. I give the B & G a worksheet to list their first and second music choices for the:
-Groom Pre-wedding
-Bride Pre-wedding
-Photoshoot
-Recap
[ceremony and reception use live sound track]
If they want my help I give them a dump of my music library titles as a guide.
