Re: All DSLR wedding..
Great angles! Some of the skin tones on the interior shots rendered a little red on my screen.

Re: All DSLR wedding..
Very nice Stephen, love the use of audio over this sequence and the superb Isle shot towards the end.
Great:) |

Re: All DSLR wedding..
Very nice. My favorite sequence is during the ceremony when the bride looks at the groom then switch angles for his look at her. Great work.

Re: All DSLR wedding..
Stephen. Nice job. I went to a StillMotion seminar and they mentioned try to "avoid mixed lighting". I now have the makeup girls use natural light. I've even been known to turn off all the yellow lights in the house/hotel room during the prep.

Re: All DSLR wedding..
Hey mike.
That's actually great advice. I look forward to trying this approach on my next wedding. Steve. |

Re: All DSLR wedding..
Steve - very nice. Loved the scene transitions. I felt the volume of the speaker's voice could have been a little higher in relationship to the soundtrack- because it was so good. Nice images from the T2i. Thinking about getting one myself.

Re: All DSLR wedding..
Hey Art...
For the price I think you'll be satisfied with the T2i's capabilities. Right now I would like to pick up an H1 for a recorder, but it's not in the budget. I couldn't bump up the audio from the celebrant anymore without there being a lot more noise in the track. When I lowered the soundtrack, again the noise from the recorder was present. It's a battle every wedding and I can't wait to upgrade. I have an H2 that I would love to use as the main source of audio. But it's so large I can justify sticking it in the grooms pocket. Thanks for watching either way. Steve |

Re: All DSLR wedding..
Art, for a few more bucks, go with the 60D. The viewfinder alone is worth it. I have the 7D, 60D and T2i and the 60D is my main camera just because of the viewfinder.

Re: All DSLR wedding..
Hey Kren...
Yeah, I'm really bummed out by the skin tone. I bumped up the saturation so that didn't help things out (obviously). Thanks for watching. Steve |

Re: All DSLR wedding..
Stephen,
Maybe for the next time, but I've been struggling with skin tones also. This last weekend I started upcompressing my footage to 4:2:2 so that I could correct the color. It was worthless fixing the color on the original file. I'm liking the results I'm getting. |

I like it! Wow, you did a great job with two windows directly behind them! It could've been so easy to over or underexpose.
