My first wedding reel
Alexandru Cristescu Alexandru Cristescu is offline February 8th, 2011, 10:56 PM

Finally had the chance to put together a reel of my work from the past year and a half. Almost entirely shot on a Canon xha1. Used a steadicam merlin too. I've found weddings to be very enjoyable and I look forward to improving on my skills. I would definitely appreciate any feedback.

I do not see any video or link to your reel.

Pretty good video Alexandru... Everything seemed to flow very nicely with the music. My only suggestion would be to chose a different thumbnail for the video. It's a little overexposed and doesn't paint a picture of how nice your video really is. Just my thoughts.
Well done once again.

Thanks for the suggestion Stephen, the thumbnail does seem a bit overexposed. Thinking of overexposed, can't wait until there is an affordable raw video cam. Until then, I better just get it right huh.

Re: My first wedding reel

I'd correct white balance at 1:19. Also a couple of other places. But that's just me. :-)

Regards,

Andrew.

Looks great to me Alex. Good choice of music, too. If i was to do anything differently, i would perhaps edit the reel to a climax, slowly picking up the pace and power of the clips as it reaches a finale - to seal the deal.
