Shot this wedding a few months ago and pretty happy with how it turned out considering the difficulties of shooting with HV30s..:) but I guess learning the ropes with minimal equipment will help in the long run as I progress with my work. I have used this same setup for a few other weddings and those little cameras def still pull their weight!! Had some trouble with lens flares (outdoor wedding) and wind during the ceremony, but not too big a deal I reckon..everything is still viewable/listenable...also the obvious camera movement when shooting handheld...my spiderbrace broke a couple days before this wedding! bummer.
Shot with HV30s...cheap lav mic for ceremony audio and a rode videomic, an "ebay" 70LED lamp (on camera for reception) actually pleased with that purchase, FCP 7 for editing and titles in Motion, Magic Bullet for additional grading.
