I love your continuity! The shoes going on and dress hitting on beat to the bride getting out of the limo...the transition works so well!
I wish the shot of the bride's eyes was focused on her and not the wall...but I enjoy the effect regardless. What do you use for your vows audio again? Extremely clear...where do you position the mic? Oh, and welcome back! (I say as one who has about 5 posts total). -Corey |

Thanks Corey... I just use a sony digital recorder that I picked up from best buy. I place it on the lapel of Groom.

Thanks Kren....
I think it's my best ring shot so far. It took some time and a lot of tilting of the table to get it just right. Thanks for watching. Steve |

That was great, Stephen. You've got a good eye for detail, and shot it very well. Nice mix of slider, tripod and hand held, and variety of shots. I liked it a lot.
I've been away from the forum as well. Busy with corp stuff and docs lately. I just came to post something myself and saw you returning as well! I agree with the comment about the focus on the wall instead of the bride. The dangers of auto focus with a bright background. We've all been caught by that, I'll bet. I didn't like the repeat of the dress at the beginning. Not necessary. And I would have lowered the music under the vows. They seemed really loud out of nowhere. Drop the music and add the vows at a volume that lets you peak at the same level as before. Awesome ring shot, damn you! I always forget to try something like that. Nice to see the groom look happy at the end. For much of the opening, he looked like he was going to his doom. Pretty nervous. Now I'll go post my video so you can beat me up, hehe... Nice job as always. |
