Hey Richard,
Way to draw some interest in with the post title :) - I didn't notice the pint 'special effects' ... Loved them both. That first one is some freebie for the couple - they must be over the moon. It was pretty heavy on the fx, but I think they really worked. Loved the one when they're walking out of the church - some 3D kind of RGB separation thang going on. I also like the rack focus with the foreground/background on the couples names. I did a similar thing with an opening title a few days ago. That 'peeking' shot of the bridesmaid and bride over the grooms shoulder around 1:00 is just beautiful. The 2nd clip was a bit more traditional in feel, and you did it justice. It had a nice feel about the whole thing. It did look like there were some blown out whites on the brides face at 1:27 in the 2nd clip, although that could be the crappola monitor I'm watching it on so take that comment for what it is :) Well done on a great couple of clips - I still love your surprise magician proposal clip...or is that some dust in my eye..? Cheers, Matt. P.S. I feel sorry for you having beaches with rocks on them...having been to Brighton 'beach', give me Aussie sand any day ;) |

cheers Matt
i feel utterly embarrassed you've witnessed our rocky beaches, after growing up with sandy oz beaches! eek! thanks for the comments....oh, and you're completely right about the blown out whites in that shot, might have to re-do that! annoyingly though, i'm finding a bug with Vimeo, whereby it doesn't always replace clips successfully...annoying! those could be the last wedding clips of that nature....i just received my 5dmk2 in the post this morning :) |
