Looks great, Luke. I love the dynamic range. Did you have an automatic setting on? I detect a shift in exposure as you come out from behind the headstone around 1:43.

yeah i think i did, well spoted, that was my merlin attepmt, hard to get low tracking shots with that thing.

IS it always best to leave it on locked ????

Depends. If you have very steady lighting conditions, then it's okay but the way snow reflects light you can have noticeable shifts as you pan across a landscape.
