desktop HD monitor
I see so many posts regarding field monitors. But what about desktop monitors?
I'm looking for something to accurately preview my work on an interlaced SD monitor. I work in HDV but these days, everything gets downrezzed to SD and is predominantly shown on interlaced CRTs. I have an nvidia 7800 gt graphics card running two 19" LCDs. Can I just get something to preview on my old CRT television? Editors need monitors too people!!! :) |

You can firewire out to your TV (or better yet, a SD broadcast monitor). Most NLEs support this.
