Calibrating samsung 206BW for video
Hello everyone,
I am having a peculiar problem with my Samsung 206BW display unit! I have it calibrated using adobe gamma. The display seems to render the colors, saturation and intensity for my photographs very accurately. But when I try to play any video (with VLC, windows media player etc.) it turns very very dark (almost invisible!) and colors are wrong too! (however sony vegas trial in its little preview window shows it correctly!!). can anyone please help me with this?? |

Check the video overlay settings on your video card. The interface is different between ATI and Nvidia and everyone else, but the general method is...
Right click your desktop, get properties Settings tab advanced button and then some custom tab that your video card drivers put in that lets you adjust the overlay settings. |

Thanks!
Thanks Glenn! I would look into that once I get back to home tonight and post the update.
BTW my graphics card is a Nvidia 7900 GS with 256MB Ram. Ajit B. |
