Live Production Monitor Dillema at DVinfo.net

I'm looking for a pair of 17" monitors for live production switching and have boiled it down to the Marshall V-R171P-AFHD and the Panasonic BT-LH1700W (see links below). As far as spec sheets, I'm at a loss here; it looks like a wash both in abilities and price point.

Does anyone have any hands-on experience with either one of these that could help tip the hands a bit?
